Recently I have been wanting to finally get around to some site redesign and wanted to start a blog, very quickly i realized how much of a pain it was. Not wanting to increase server load I looked into writing a static site generator. This while a simple task I could likely do in an hour just wasnt really worth the effort to me so the project was put on hold until recently. I had been hearing about this static site generator called hugo for a while, I decided to finally give it a shot. Hugo is emessily stupid. It was a bit of a pain to get it to work how I wanted it to but I have finally managed to get it working more or less how I desire.
