Chatrooms

If you are interested in joining one of our official chats rooms this is the right place to be. We have 2 main chatrooms and a few minor ones. The first one is called "Religion Anthropology Philosophy Entropy". The other is known as "Bible Discussion Study Meeting". The rules for both are pretty much the same. Below you can find the info to join these chatrooms as well as the info for the servers they reside on.

XMPP/Jabber

We host our own XMPP/Jabber server. You can connect to your XMPP/Jabber account via IRC using our bitlbee instance (see below). You can connect to matrix channels using matrix's own XMPP <--> Matrix gateway, The address syntax for this can be found here. You can also join IRC channels from the XMPP instance using Biboumi (see below).

Matrix

There used to be a matrix instance hosted by a PatchySICP member. However it is currently being moved to a new location, for the time being you can join via the XMPP <--> Matrix gateway, The address syntax for this can be found here. It should be noted that this breaks at times and you need to rejoin the channel to fix it.
